The first portfolio software is called Bitcoin Core and was released in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, the possible inventor of Bitcoin. It is open-source software, and was originally called bitcoind. Sometimes called the "Satoshi client", it is also known as the reference client for implementations as it serves to define the bitcoin acting protocol as the default. In version 0.5, the client stopped using the wxWidgets user interface toolkit and started using Qt software, and the new package became known as Bitcoin-Qt. After the release of version 0.9, Bitcoin-Qt changed its name to Bitcoin Core

Those are great information, it's the first time I heard about it.  I do know that a certain Satoshi Nakamoto is the creator of Bitcoin and I've watched his interviews but why is he telling people that he did not invent it?

Because he probably didn't invent it. The most recently updated article  talks all about how the true identity of whomever created blockchain technology - and bitcoin as a by-product - remains unknown. Even one of the most influential figures in the creation of bitcoin did not know the real indentity of the technology's creator. It could have been some famous tech individual or an unknown who just happened to come up with this amazing idea. Quite frankly, I believe that the inventor's true identity will never be uncovered and will continue to be a great mystery for years to come.
