Cryptocurrency and blockchain are here to stay. Despite and the FUDs, and the doom and gloom about the btc bubble, more and more institutions are either investing, adapting, or developing their own cryptocurrency products. Bitcoin will be almost a decade old, and it has come a long way from its less-than-a-dollar origins.

Would Bitcoin really last?  That's the question in most people's mind.  Because no one really knows for sure, if it would last or not.  But considering its success I tend to believe that Bitcoin would continue on its path of legitimizing itself.

I think that bitcoin will really last. It has already started. I hope everybody will accept it.

The technology will not only survive the test of time and criticisms, but it will thrive and be appleid in other industries such as finance, banking, business, production etc.  The blockchain technology has been widely recognised as more superior than the existing system in keeping records and facilitating transactions.  The existing system does not help to solve the problems caused by trust deficit, that is why we depend very much on third party to mediate and facilitate transactions.  But the advent of the blockchain technology takes out the roles of third parties and make them redundant.

The answer to this question of whether Bitcoin is here to stay is absolutely yes because this question was asked when the digital currency was created and launched in 2009, most people had doubts about investing in Bitcoin but look at it now, most people are regretting not investing back then.
