That's a fun theory. I don't know if you're right. But it does sound possible for attacks to happen. I wouldn't be surprised if someone was causing the unstable nature of bitcoin. 😂

I found a post somewhere on Reddit that says Bitcoin is under attack constantly but it isn't fazing. It just shows that it's security is powerful enough to keep the attackers at bay. As for the volatility of the price, I think it is the nature of Bitcoin to have wild swings at times.

I find that interesting. I'm sure lots of people are interested in gaining control over this cryptocurrency. I doubt that they'll succeed any time soon. I think so to. Bitcoin does have a history of being constantly unpredictable. Perhaps that's what's great about it. 😅

I think it's very much possible for a sophisticated hacker to attack on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency by influencing its value in the market. I recently watched one movie currently that is called TAKEN Season 2, and in the storyline, there was one episode where it was discussed that such attacks on cryptocurrency is very possible to the extent of the FBI and DOD being affected and interested in catching the culprits.

I think some power is trying to control or affect the volatility of bitcoin.  It's all about getting huge profits whenever Bitcoin prices swings.  So I really think someone's controlling it.

That's so funny. Since when does a movie have a season? You might be referring to a TV series. 😂

Yes, I've seen shows like that. They depict the very real possibility of someone manipulating currencies, especially cryptocurrency. It's just fortunate that bitcoin is still going strong with its form of security. At least, that's how it looks like right now.

Yeah, a TV series is also called season. It seems that you don't know that, well I'm glad to be the one to teach you that. It's such an honor 😝

Well, the security of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency must be top notch in order to keep hackers away from taking advantage and stealing Bitcoin worth billions of dollars.

So now we're not sure if someone is indeed controlling it. But it's probably someone who has official access to it. Not some hacker who bypassed the security protocols.

I think a logical answer would be, whoever made it, is controlling it, and the powers that be may be doing something to stop it's progress.  They may be studying Bitcoin first in order to launch their own cryptocurrencies.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to a movie. There's a famous action movie called "Taken" and it has a sequel called "Taken 2." 😅

Yes, I've read that they made sure of that before launching bitcoin. They're very secretive about this stuff.

Yes exactly my friend, it's the movie that I was referring to. If you watched it very well, you would see an episode in the movie where an attack on Bitcoin was discussed.

I wish I could posses that skill. Can you imagine how much money one can make by getting access to 50,000 worth of Bitcoin?

I do hope so because I'm not an expert yet when it comes to technical analysis. I am continuously learning about trading and reading news about cryptocurrency. Thanks!

It's very strange that the price of Bitcoin is still falling, I mean there's a lot of profit taking but it's been depreciating for more than half a year, and to me that's very unique if not strange.

Wait, how is there an episode within the movie? Episode is only for TV series. Movie only runs once from beginning to end. I'm confused. You probably mean a part in the movie. 😂

I can't imagine it happening. But I can imagine the possibilities of what a person would do with lots of money. 😁

Seriously, it's becoming increasingly worrying how Bitcoin keeps falling on daily basis. It's not appealing anymore. Something need to be done about this.

I think it's price is now on a rebound and it posted +8℅ today but again, I think it'll go down again tomorrow because of profit selling.  I just read an article which says that Bitcoin may become stable in the $3K mark before it becomes bullish again.

All we can do is wait and wait until Bitcoin's price starts to move in our favor. We can't move the price ourselves and it's up to the whales' actions. I do hope there will be another bull run soon. It may be this year or next year. Nobody knows.

I think that over the couple of weeks now, the price keeps fluctuating up and down. It goes up today and comes back down lower tomorrow, that is not good for business. It affects investment in a very bad way. I hope this gets sorted out quickly.

Indeed! The nature of bitcoin is not something we can easily predict. It's going to stay that way for most of the time. I hope you can still earn profits despite this.

Yep, investors are really unsure to invest in it or not until they could see some regularity to its price.  Investment in Bitcoin for now can be compared to gambling, there's really no way to know or deduce or predict what would happen next.

It's better not to be able to predict how Bitcoin behaves especially when it comes to its price. It's why the cryptocurrency needs to be stable in the market in order to have its credibility back. If the cryptocurrency can be easily predicted, then a lot of people are going to manipulate it.

I totally agree. It should stay unpredictable in order to give others a chance. Can you imagine what would happen if only the rich could control bitcoins? They'd monopolize the entire cryptocurrency.

An investment where only the rich can be able to benefit from the investment isn't a good one, so I think that giving other individuals an opportunity to benefit from such investment is a good one.

Me too. The rich people are probably having struggles keeping up with the cryptocurrency. Even with their hired experts, they can't fully predict how bitcoin's price will change.

The current collapse is difficult to explain with just one fact. Even North Korean hackers were singled out by the Wall Street Journal as being responsible for attacks that helped the currency fall. The North Korean government would be funding robberies and the mining of the currency to have new sources of financing.

Another concern comes from South Korea. Recently, the local government has said it is considering banning trading with crypto-coins. In the middle of the offensive, authorities even went on to oversee the country's brokerage firms. The decision is important because South Korea is one of the major markets for digital currencies.

Anyways, the price seems to be getting back up to where it's used to be and staying that way. At least for days now, it haven't dropped back to $5,000, so if it keeps holding up this way, I'm pretty sure it's going to be stable in the market.

That sounds nice. Maybe it will become more stable for now. I wonder how others have used their bitcoins. Maybe some already sold theirs for fear of losing more value.
