EfficientNinja
Hello, Sling Bank members! With Bitconnect being one of the largest scams in the cryptocurrency universe, people are now more cautious when it comes to engaging in a crypto investment. How do we avoid getting scammed in crypto investments? Are there obvious signs if a cryptocurrency investment is a scam? Can you share some of your criteria to check if a site that is claiming to be a legit investment is a scam? Jasonn
Myself, I would be active as a reader and/or writer on various crypto communities. In that case, I would know the scene and not be fooled so easily. I mean, certainly, for instance, some person who knows little about cars would be conned easily by a shady auto mechanic, right? Well, the same goes in this situation! Kakashi2020
Well I for one would always read scam reviews of the site and if it's a new site then I'll base it on its trust ratings which can be found in scam review sites. I think this is the best way of avoiding scams sites which focus in cryptocurrencies. fishbate
Well for me, if its too good to be true then it may probably be a scam. Lastly, you can check out review sites first before starting an investment. Kakashi2020
The problem sometimes is that there's always a new site which has neither scam reviews nor trust ratings and these sites move very fast to sucker in investments, masquerading as old sites and showing of fake members, investors and withdrawals just to attract people to invest and after that they quickly fold. Well, scams can also be found on non-scam websites. I mean, for all the good, you will find some bad. Therefore, in that case, you must be extra cautious. Anyway, such platforms might not be able to root out scammers because proving them wrong is too difficult. For instance, as a related example, look at cheap internet traffic like pop-unders. How can we really for certain say that stuff is s scam? Kakashi2020
I think currency scams is a big factor why alot of people are shunning away from investing in cryptocurrencies. Currency Scams are so prevalent online and in social media that people who are interested in investing have lost interest. focusedwriter10
Determining if a crypto investment is not a scam is not easier for most people. However, the best way to determine if a site is a scam is researching thoroughly, and more so just go for sites that have been in existence for quite for some time. To avoid the risk, stay away from new sites until they get some reviews. Martinsx
Don't get too greedy with making investments in cryptocurrency. It's the only way to avoid getting scammed. You might make good money if you invest through the right channels but once it's through the wrong one, you are doomed.
