I'm somewhat disappointed by its current performance. But who knows? It could skyrocket again in the future. It really is a volatile currency. I can see the smiles on those who are now just starting to invest on Bitcoin. It's priced much lower so their gains might be really high. 😂
-
I agree. So many people jump in the bandwagon the moment something takes off. Like with blogging in the previous years. And now we have aspiring YouTubers. Pretty much anything that's monetized is a sure thing to catch people's attention. 😂
-
That's really unsettling. Does that mean that the government has somehow already infiltrated bitcoin? It seems an inevitable thing. With all their manpower and resources, anything can happen. 😲
-
I'm also interested to see where this goes. Messenger is like their way of testing the waters for new inventions. I'm sure we'll just find out that we can now do online transactions using something Facebook made. I wonder how Paypal will react to that.
-
It's really sad. This is why we should avoid making decisions during emotional moments. Because we tend to lose sight of common sense. Logic must be applied in order to gain a better chance at earning money.
-
Yes, you might end up regretting your decision in the future. It's not nice to lose a lot of money over bad decisions. So make sure you understand it well enough first before trying it out.
-
That's okay. I'm just worried about the potential control of the government over everything. If they do get their hands on cryptocurrency, it might restrict everyone to the point of a totalitarian society. It's a scary future indeed.
-
I like that fact as well. It's like a new form of business. Even regular people are joining in on the trend. Lots of us are intrigued to make money off of trading bitcoin when its value increases. 😁
-
You might be right. They would rather not risk losing control of finances. Cryptocurrency is a new thing for many countries. It could be that it's not really something that's working for them compared to other nations. 😁
-
That's interesting. I wonder why that is. Well, since China is one of the leading countries in the world. I guess it makes sense. They want the odds to be in their favor when it comes to power struggle. Money is a huge part of that. 😁
-
I'm sure it will increase its value exponentially. Other than that, only time will can tell. It's hard to predict something as volatile as bitcoin. I hope that people get their money's worth when the time comes. It's going to be a busy time for cryptocurrency exchange when that happens. 😁

What should Coin Companies do to be trusted by investors?
Steve5 replied to Kakashi2020's topic in Altcoins
Most people are wary of new companies. So they might want to start small. That would minimize the risk of people losing huge sums of money. They must prove that their cryptocurrency is capable of staying relevant for a long time. If they do that, then more people will try their luck with it. 😃 -
It sounds like you know what you're talking about. I think you're right. These newly launched alt coins are tricky to handle. You might easily lose your money due their volatile nature. Bitcoin has had more success than other cryptocurrency out there. 😁
-
I probably won't use my money for that. I don't like the idea of using hard earned money. It's too volatile for me. I might end up losing money instead of gaining it. This is better for people who've had more experience in cryptocurrency trade.
-
That's true. It's going to be as easy as a flick of his finger. They already have something in the form of Facebook credits. I remember back then how useful it was for famous Facebook games. If they could do that with cryptocurrency, they'd dominate it for sure. 😃
-
Sounds fascinating. I only just read about it now. So fiat currency is something that the government recognizes as money. It's hard for me to explain but I kind of get it. If it does happen, it will lose its edge as being somewhat unpredictable. I'm sure they're working towards controlling bitcoin eventually. 😁
-
That's true. In fact, bitcoin has become so well known that banks offer exchange services. Even financial institutions recognize its prominence as a cryptocurrency. I'm sure they're making a lot of money through their processing fees. 😃

What are the risks in Bitcoin investments?
Steve5 replied to Kakashi2020's topic in General Discussion
That's true. At the end of the day, it's still an investment. And you may or may not gain back your money. This is why people prefer mining instead of putting their cash on the line. They're not confident with the possible results. 😂 -
That's really interesting. I think so too. Also, bitcoin is gradually nearing its limit. I wonder how much it will be worth once it runs out. Maybe more than double its current price. 😁
-
Yes, that's really disappointing. A lot of people burn out from eventual failures. It's like they tried so hard but didn't get anything worthwhile out of it. It's better to study more about it first before doing a bunch of stuff. Cryptocurrency is a very complex topic. 😃

Was Bitcoin made to facilitate underground illegal transactions?
Steve5 replied to Kakashi2020's topic in Marketplace
You're welcome. I hope you're not disappointed. It's actually a widely accepted theory. But there are still skeptics regarding its involvement in the dark web. It's up to us on whether we believe it or not. I just feel like it's the perfect currency for a place that's rooted in shady businesses. 😃 -
That's terrifying. I'd have to agree. It seems that a cashless society is inevitable. Especially, given the emphasis made on cryptocurrency. I hope by then we won't experience these end time predictions. It chills me to the bone thinking about it. 😱
-
It's possible. But you should remember that we can never be certain with cryptocurrency. Losing that amount of money can be disappointing. At the end of the day, it's up to you. After all, you'll be the one to benefit from it in case it appreciates just as you hope it would. 😃
-
I don't know. I think it could be. But we'll never know until he does. I'm a bit worried about the possibility of a cashless society. If that were to happen, it would end up making things harder for the less fortunate. I've watched Black Mirror and I can see how that could possibly be used for nefarious purposes. 😅
-
That's right. This is why they invest in advanced hardware capable of handling the process of mining. Just relying on your regular computer isn't enough. I can see why the technologically adept benefit the most when it comes to cryptocurrency. 😃
