Looking at how the volatility of cryptocurrency have affected the price of Bitcoin recently by pushing it to nosedive down to $3,872 per BTC, are you already disappointed with Bitcoin or still hopeful on it?

Well, I'm a bit disappointed but whatever happens it's price will still appreciate. It's too early in the game, a lot of good things will still happen.  Bitcoin has not yet realized even half of it's full potential.

Personally I'm not disappointed as I wanted to buy Bitcoin, but didn't (lucky for me) because just as I wanted to do it this huge drop occured. If it keeps dropping then perhaps I'll buy it, because I'm sure that Bitcoin sooner or later will rise again. Myself, I feel sorry for my father, who bought it for 10k USD. It's not like his decision was bad, buying Bitcoins is a good idea, but must be done in the right timing. Imagine how lucky is the person who bought it when it was extremely cheap many many years ago, and then suddenly began to rise. There are numerous cases how ordinary people became millionares thanks to this investment.

I bought Bitcoin at $4.4K but only a small fraction of it exactly  $600 worth.  Well by now I think my investment is just worth about $400, and I'm disappointed but, the game isn't over, not by a long shot.  It would definitely appreciate and my investment would double and even quadruple.  The only issue is when?  It could be next month, next year or even 2 years from now, so I'll just let my investment sleep for a while.

Hopefully, we still look up to the possibility of the cryptocurrency riding back up to the peak of what we used to know it of when it comes to price. But at least for now, Bitcoin has fully disappointed a lot of people with myself included.

It's a 50/50 thing in my opinion. It's been a long time since we saw the price of Bitcoin rise up to 10k USD.

Anyways, the current constant drop in the cryptocurrency is only of good advantage to those who want to invest newly.

I'm somewhat disappointed by its current performance. But who knows? It could skyrocket again in the future. It really is a volatile currency. I can see the smiles on those who are now just starting to invest on Bitcoin. It's priced much lower so their gains might be really high. 😂

It's very possible that the price of Bitcoin will appreciate as it's a matter of when because at the moment, it's still on a nosedive mode with persistent dropping in price.

Have you considered what would happen if the price never appreciates? So many people would lose millions of dollars and so much more.

I too am a bit disappointed with its performance, but looking at the big picture, early last year Bitcoin was priced below $1k, so to me, there's nothing to get nervous about as long as it doesn't hit below that level.

Definitely disappointed. After a few months hovering mostly above the $6k level, one would be more inclined to believe that a support base was forming, but we got a breakdown instead of a breakout. On the plus side though, btc is relatively cheap for a 2019 rally.

Seriously, it's very disappointing that Bitcoin took this kind of graph with its fall in price. I was actually looking forward to a major breakout in the price of Bitcoin as well by January but from the looks of things, 2019 will be a year of major fall in cryptocurrency.

Yes, I think that most of the investors around the World are slightly disappointed by Bitcoin value in the current scenario. I think that there is also a little shock along with disappointment as it was not expected by the investors. However, I think that this is bound to be a passing phase and Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will surely recover and still continue to be one of the most popular options for investment.

Do not despair, friend. I'm sure that Bitcoin owners will rejoice sooner or later, when it might go up once again. Although I can understand their disappointment with the fall of it. I'm still sure that it's temporary and that indeed the 2019 year might show entirely different results. The only thing I wish for is the ability to know the best timing for buying Bitcoin when it's at the lowest point. Currently I"m still debating, whether to wait for it to fall more, because if it rises then it will be an opportunity missed (for me personally).

Yes, it's kind of terrifying and hilarious at the same time. Certainly not good for those who've invested thousands of dollars on it. Let's see how it goes for the next couple of weeks. Maybe it'll appreciate before the year ends. 😂

It's indeed terrifying because when you consider the amount of money that so many people would lose in Bitcoin investment, it would break most people's financial foundation.

I also hope the price appreciates soon because if it keeps at this pace, it would be worst in 2019.

2018 is a relatively messed up year for Bitcoin if I'm being very honest with you. The volatility of the cryptocurrency never really favored most Bitcoin holders rather it made them lost money and still losing at the moment.

At some point I am disapointed. BTC is just too sluggish. Transaction take too long time. This because of the reality that a few government applied border firewalls that affects the connection pace. And so on but additionally ETH has a solution for this.

Seriously, I'm considering picking Ethereum over Bitcoin as a more reliable cryptocurrency because it seems more stable in all ramifications when compared to BTC.

Ethereum is extremely cheap right, so I think you should go for it. My friend has bought a lot of Ethereum at the moment, and I think it's a smart choice, because he has cash to spare and Ethereum is cheap at the moment. But on the other side, what if Ethereum will never rise back up again. These cryptocurrencies are like a lottery.

Although, I am not shocked by its volatility in prices. I am disappointed because i was expecting the bitcoin price will go up.

Exactly! From all indications investing in Ethereum is a very good choice because with what Bitcoin is suffering at the moment, it's never advisable for the moment.

Seriously, everyone expected Bitcoin to at least appreciate a little bit at the end of the year but look at it now, it's behaving so bad with its instability in price. I really wonder what would happen in 2019 with Bitcoin specifically.

Yeah. It might be okay for those who are already rich. I'm more worried for people who took the risk despite having only moderate means of income. That would be devastating to them financially. 😂

Exactly! You are absolutely correct with that assertion on how devastating it would be for people who aren't privileged to have millions to spare but decided to gamble with the cryptocurrency investment only to end up losing.

I'm glad there are people like you who feel for them. They should really consider their actions. Especially, before putting a ton of money on something they barely know anything about. It might just save their fortune. 😃
