It won't be a good idea in my opinion. It would make a mess of the whole cryptocurrency thing because some people wouldn't maintain their cryptocurrency or make it stable which would make people lose their money. Also no one will invest in another person's cryptocurrency since they can have their own. It's like giving people the right to print currency, it's hopeless.

The ultimate aim of cryptocurrency is not the virtual coin, but I believe it is the purpose of the creation that matters.  The creation of a bloackchain to solve issues or to improve the existing systems should be the main purpose of creating new blockchain.  The purpose can be serving those who are unbanked or underbanked.  If the purpose is clear, the demand of the coin will be wide spread after its introduction.

Well believe it or not there is already an existing platform that you can create your own cryptocurrency. You can create your own cryptocurrency at Ethereum though it is not free but you can create your own cryptocurrency for lets say about $2  and it is very complicated for those who have zero knowledge. If you really want to learn how to create your own cryptocurrency there is a tutorial on youtube plus google it for added information.

If you're a person that has such a limited knowledge in computers and programming that you need a platform to make it accessible to you, then maybe you don't deserve to create your own cryptocurrency. Using cryptocurrencies are already kind of complicated, the technicality and specifics of it is even more complicated as you need to know a lot about the market, how cryptocurrencies work at a specific level, etc.

It's not easy to create and maintain your own currency. There has to be a good reason for users to want to invest in virtually something that is worth nothing as of yet. Unlike physical currency which has the backing of its value in US dollar, the valuation of cryptocurrency depends solely on the supply and demand of those who are willing to acknowledge that it has value. Bitcoin was a forerunner in the field, and managed to garner a large share of the pie in terms of public interest, so to speak.

So, unless you can provide something new, I doubt it's going to be a good idea to have a platform for the sole creation of letting every person create their own cryptocurrency.
