Except for the transaction fees on the websites that accept Bitcoins I believe not. You cannot tax what "doesn't exist".

Very expensive! Especially if you intend to build a big one and gain huge profits. Obviously having a small mine just wont be worth it. So you better have a lot of spare budget and lots of space in your yard, haha.

I've never heard about it before. So it's like another cryptocurrency, but for Philippines? Quite an interesting idea, especially if it can sustain itself to survive.

There's obviously a risk of being hacked, but to be honest, you can have that risk with almost anything. The most important factor is not to put all the eggs in one basket. Even Paypal, Payeer and PerfectMoney can be hacked, and you can lose your savings.

I didn't know about it, actually. Oddly enough almost any country has cryptocurrencies, especially when it cant sustain all the economical factors. Perhaps Nigeria wants to have a full monopoly on the economical life of the citizens. -
That's an interesting question. Although it would be optimal for everyone, but I think banks would refuse it. First of all it's a risk (we can see how the cryptocurrency is going up and down nowadays). Secondly, they wouldn't want to get themselves involved into the cryptocurrency world.

I'm kinda disappointed because I bought 6 months ago back when it was still quite expensive (compared to now). I was recommended by a friend. He said Bitcoin will beat all the existing cryptocurrencies and national currencies.

It's okay I guess (it's a mining platform), but I'd say making your own farm is far more profitable (if you have cheap electricity).

Not a long time ago, actually. Maybe 6 months or so. Heard people talking about it and then I decided to Google it.

It's not that Bitcoin is illegal, the problem is that it's not recognized by many, and for obvious reasons. 3rd parties want to have a monopoly on everything.
