This is one of the most popular questions regarding Bitcoin.  I for one didn't invest in it earlier because of lack of knowledge on how to invest in it.  Bitcoin investments are not being supported in our country in the early days.

Same here. I also knew nothing about it except that it was a new experimental currency. In a way, I knew it would skyrocket in the future. But lacking both in knowledge and financial capability, I couldn't really afford it. Though, if I had even so much as invested a hundred dollars on it, I'd be so much richer right now. 😂

I recently found out that Bitcoin was actually released back in 2008? Oddly enough, I heard about it only 6 months ago or so. Perhaps if I had heard about it earlier then I would have invested in it.

Back then it was headline news, it was big, but it was vague.  Only tech people knows how to mine it. No one actually shared any info, it was what you call privileged information.

So when did people find out about it in the state that it is currently at? When did the people get the opportunity to buy it for the first time?

As for myself, I guess I'm not way overly optimistic about it at first. A few people think that anyone who invests will automatically double their money. There is no difference between investing in cryptocurrency and playing the lottery, and they're both in some way like gambling at the end of the day. IMHO

For most part, I just didn't have the money to invest in something that didn't seem to be plausible at the time. Given the intangible nature of Bitcoin, it's hard to see if it was a legitimate thing or if it was just some elaborate scam. It had been better to err on the side of caution at that time.

I didn't invest in bitcoin last year because it's price is on the $19,000 mark so if I invested that time it is a huge loss for me. but for me right now is the right time to invest because i believe that in 2019 the bitcoins price will reach the $50,000 mark.

You got a point! But these prices are so random, God knows what price will be next. Higher or lower. I kept waiting and waiting, and Bitcoin didn't fall. Then I decided to buy it, and shortly after, it fell. You can imagine how badly I felt about it all, haha.
