I think we've all heard about the guy who bought 2 boxes of pizza paying 10,000 btc in the early days of Bitcoin in May 2010.  The guys name was Laszlo Hanyecz who is now immortalized in history as the first person who successfully purchased a good using Bitcoin. He successfully traded 10000 btc for 2 boxes of pizza. Do the math, that's like paying $100 million in today's money for 2 boxes of pizza.

Well, that is certainly a mind boggling amount for buying two boxes of Pizza. I am sure this person must be thinking of the transaction hae had done in the past all the time. Would he be feeling great to have purchased the Pizza by spending so many Bitcoins or would he be thinking about the value of the Bitcoins that grew exponentially afterwards? Whatever may be the case, he surely become a part of History when he did this transaction.

Given the rate it was first traded at, and compared to the value of bitcoin now... Well, I can for sure say that this guy is probably regretting not holding onto his BTC back then. But there always has to be first for everything, and it's great that he managed to prove that it's possible to trade a deregulated, virtual currency for a tangible good! He'll have a story to tell, at the very least.
