Well, I learned about Bitcoins on a shopping site online which was accepting payments in the form of Bitcoins at that time for overseas customers. I researched about Bitcoins online after that and then got acquainted about it. I don't remember the exact date or year but this was some years back. Since then the popularity and acceptance of Bitcoin have increased a lot and today everyone knows about bitcoins.

Personally, I have the knowledge about Bitcoin since 2009 but I didn't know much about it then when it was launched. It became very functional in business in 2010 but I didn't trust it to invest back which is a decision that I have regretted till today.

I never know that some e-commerce sites are accepting Bitcoins as a mode of payment. All I know of are the popular ones which are PayPal, credit and debit cards, etc. Are the stores you mentioned major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and eBay?

The first time I heard about Bitcoin was in 2014, I joined a freelance writing Facebook group, then I noted people were discussing its price, and whether the investment worth.  Luckily, in a few months time, I landed a gig to write articles for an exchanger.

No, I was not talking about any major e-commerce site in my previous post. I was on a website which was recommended to me by some of my online friends. The website used to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment to sell some of its products and services at that time. As far as the acceptance of Bitcoin by any major e-commerce site is concerned, I guess it will definitely become a big news whenever it happens.

I see, still, that's excellent news. I'm sure if small businesses are starting to accept payments through cryptocurrencies, the giants might follow suit in the future.

I think the giants actually won't do it, or they're behind it to collapse our economy even more (conspiracy theory). But giants have a good standing already with the current currencies. I see no reason for them to switch to the unstable Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, unless it becomes more reliable.

Wow! That was a long time ago. Almost 10 years since that time. I guess we're wondering what it would've been like to have invested as early as that. I imagine people easily becoming millionaires if they'd known it would grow like this. 😂

That's what I'm saying if a lot of small stores accept payments via cryptocurrencies the public will see it more reliable. I'm not an expert but once Bitcoin makes a deal with one of the giants, it will be widespread and prices of Bitcoin will skyrocket.

I think so too. It's possible that bitcoin will become even more valuable once it's accepted by other markets. Online stores are probably looking into it. Others are just more open with experimenting on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. 😁

Could you perhaps tell me what stores accept payments? I would like to take a look, because I've never encountered such thing before. As a matter of fact, I'm quite surprised. I didn't think anyone would dare on such risky move. Imagine a customer paying you with Bitcoin worth of $100, and tomorrow they're worth $50. You can go bankrupt like that. :D

Yeah, I could have bought some back then but the problem was there wasn't a way to acquire some from where I'm from.  If only there was a way to get some at that time.

I feel like there were so much limitations back then. It's like you had to fly to another country just to be able to purchase bitcoin. Maybe you could also pay someone to buy it for you. I don't know. The possibilities are endless. But the past is already written. All we can do is speculate. Still, it's fun to think about what could have been, don't you think so? 😃

I don't really remember but somewhere here in internet. I think it was when I tried the site adzseven, it's a PTC ads and they also offer mining but at that time I still don't know all about it. I tried to mine but I really don't have any idea about that mining. I'm just following the instruction until such time my brother told me not to mine on his computer. He then asked me if I do bitcoining but I just speechless as I don't know about bitcoins.

I first hear about it in a convention but I was not interested so I ignored it. This year, when I was looking for money making sites, I stumbled upon a Get Paid to Click (GPT) website that advertised bitcoin. I decided to give it a shot and invested a bit of money in it.

I've first heard bitcoin like 2 years ago. a friend of mine introduced it. he said that i should invest in it because he has high hopes on bitcoin and see's a bright future in it.

Are you satisfied with him telling you that or on the contrary upset? I heard some people invested huge amounts into Bitcoin and once it fell down they got angry with many of their friends (they're not talking to them anymore)

The first time i heard about bitcoin was I think 2 years ago. I was looking for an online job then and found a post on facebook saying a faucet where they give bitcoins by just solving a captcha. That took my interest and reasearch if there really such a thing and from then on I explore the world of cryptocurrency.
